Though several films have been produced about women within the context of Islam, none of them have gone to the crux of the issue – i.e. is there anything in the Qu’ran that condones the mistreatment of women in the name of Islam. Please read our proposal  to get a better sense of the project.

We have shot over six hours of footage and have an eight minute trailer that has elicited a letter of support from HBO.
